Popped in for a bite to eat and had THE BEST curry I've ever eaten! Fabulous food, great service and welcoming, friendly atmosphere. Spotlessly clean! Will definitely come by this way again. Super Impressed!!!
First time visiting. Good value menu, home cooked homely menu 15.99 for two courses. Wish they served veg rather than side salad with the meals though, cottage pie with side salad. Only us eating which I thought was weird. And food seemed to take some time… even the starters. I can’t say I noticed any veggie options either.
Nice staff, the owner was very hospitable. Bit far out for us to go back, but pretty good value.
My friend and I had Sunday lunch here yesterday. It was amazing we both really enjoyed it. Can highly recommend this fab pub! We will definitely be back soon.
First visit and loved the place, great atmosphere, lovely food and beer and very welcoming. I will surely go back.
I recommend the curry night. I haven't looked yet but the landlord says they use the usual social media sites to promote theme nights and entertainment.
Lovely ethos here, friendly warm family atmosphere. The owner who is also the chef believes in good quality live music as well.
We had the additional fun of seeing a gooseberry competition in action.
Go here for a quirky great night out and you'll feel like you've been going for years. Certainly on our hit list for every time we are close. It's the sort of place that makes you look for houses in the area ????

A great traditional pub. Thoroughly enjoyed it every time I've been. Great beer, friendly staff. Good atmosphere. Proper pub.
Really lovely ladies, one the owner and one running the bar. So friendly and welcoming. Be wanting to come this pub for a long time so glad we got the opportunity. Nice outdoor space. Didn't feel like a main road but it is. Not too much traffic.
