The Crossroads

Every item was prepared promptly and was fresh and delicious! The fried green beans might be the best thing I've ever put in my mouth. They take great pride in their pies. Our group of 8 tried them ALL. The service was excellent too.

Found a hair on my plate under a piece of fish that I didn't move until I picked it up to put in carry out box to take home. Staff very slow to check back. Baked potatoe wasn't completely done.

Food is pretty fair. It was hot and correctly prepared. Coffee is passable. But the smoking section is brilliant, finally a decent place to take in a meal proper.

This is the WORST place we have eaten at in Murray! Horrible! First off, the waitress was nice taking our order. When our order came out our eggs were overdone and dried out, my biscuits were burnt. Biscuits are suppose to be golden brown, not black. If that's the way they come out of the oven (like the lady in black told us) then I would suggest turning down the heat a little. Our ribeye steaks we're not cooked the way we asked. They were under done. My daughter ordered an egg omelette. The cheese was placed on top of the omelette instead of inside like a real omelette is suppose to be. I make a better omelette than that. So, my husband told the waitress that he was not going to eat or pay for a meal that was not cooked to our liking. He did not get rude with her like she told whoever the lady was that came out to our table that looked like she just hit a crack pipe. Instead of her solving the issue she first thought we couldn't pay for it, when we were sitting with a pocket full of cash! Very offensive and unprofessional! The problem should have been taken up with the cook instead of being rude to us. My husband told her if she thought her and the waitress thought he was being rude to them he apologized, but was not happy with our meals. She got even more rude clapping her hands together then walking off. We then stopped my daughter in the middle of eating her plate, went up to the register to pay for that plate, only. They took FOREVER to meet us up there to check out. My husband gave her the money, turned around to walk out. As he and I walked out the door, my daughter was behind us and turned around to hear that lady at the register call my husband a "deuchbag" in front of other customers all because he told her no to wanting his few cents in change. NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL ON ALL LEVELS! Martha's restaurant is still at the top for the best breakfast in town! Crossroads is TERRIBLE! To the lady who called my husband that nasty name....you are spineless to have to wait til we walked out the door to say that! That was uncalled for! He was in NO WAY being an ass to you! If that's how you truly felt, you should have said it to his/our face so we could have at least defended ourselves! I for one, WILL NOT tolerate another female disrespecting my husband like that! Would NOT recommend this place to NOBODY!

Good food. I especially like the catfish meal, and on request they cut the filets into strips which makes them crisper as I like. Great tea, too.

Has the best fiddlers catfish I have eaten in years!!! Reasonably priced too. Their breakfasts are great too.

Great food once again. A little slower tonight but understandable being in a location. Very friendly as well.

Excellent catfish restaurant. If they had beer I'd have given them 5 stars.
