Best KPortal Reviews
The chicken Cobb salad was excellent, except for the chicken which was borderline inedible. It was tough as leather and I could barely cut it with the cheap paper-thin fork and knife utensils. But my buddy's black and blue salad was very good, beers were cold, and there was a nice atmosphere out on the patio. The facility is a little run down but it's worth a stop.
It took an 45 minutes of waiting for our appetizer then it came with the barely warm food. You can't have one waitress for the whole place. My dog got a ice water bowl, and his steak bites he loved them.
Most definitely a perfect Florida experience. Food was a colon cleanse which was fantastic after waiting more than an hour and a half for our food for a party of five. I approached one of the employed waitstaff regarding my concern and she quickly pointed out a party of 15 that "they just got their food. They got here at 12:30". Fabulous! I will just continue to wait over here with my heathens and be parched. NBD. Don't bother offering an appetizer on the house! Those days of customer service are gone and excuses are here to stay! But come on down to the Crazy Gator for literally craptastic food and no matter the entrance you come in you have to wade through a haze of bud light permeating off people's breaths. Fun times and wonderful first impression! Not even on the lake on the lake. It would have been the perfect place if I were with friends but not my 82-year-old Mum and my young kids.
We stopped here last week on the way home from Ocoee. The location is beautifully situated on Lake Eustis and we were able to watch the sunset as we ate dinner. The waitress was very attentive and friendly and the meal was pretty affordable. After our meal we took a walk on the dock and saw lots of birds and a baby gator. Def recommend trying this restaurant, it is a hidden gem in Eustis.
Inside, outside seating and bar areas give you 3 different atmospheres to chose from. Old historic bar. Bartender was great. Drinks were great. Will come back.
Great spot for outside dining. Blackened fish sandwich was delicious. Hubby had the potato bowl with ground beef and was very happy.
Located right next to Lake Eustis this restaurant has great sandwiches, fried chicken, french fries and tater tots. In my opinion they have the best club sandwich I have ever eaten. They offer generous portions, and the wait staff is always friendly!
The waitress tried hard to serve our group of 6. Friendly and helpful. But all to no avail because the food was bad. Fries so hard you couldn’t eat them. Shrimp was barely warm and chewy. Club sandwich was a disaster. Fell apart , just ended up eating the meat and cheese off my plate. Won’t be back. Just too many other places to spend your hard earned money on a meal. Very disappointing.
