Called in for a warm and a pint after a long days walking. Nice traditional pub with open fire
Difficult to comment, really, so I'm reluctant to say much. A quiet afternoon, slightly smoky fire, large selection of real ales but mostly a bit light for my own taste. Good range of snacks. Friendly dogs and dog-friendly pub. My brother loves this place so I'll definitely visit again to see it in a different context.
Lovely pub with a great atmosphere and helpful staff.
Unpretentious village pub with a great atmosphere. Really enjoyable.
Used regularly for about 18 months. Nice friendly and efficient service. Nice coal fire, dog friendly. One of the few old fashioned pubs local to me.Only wish they did food!
Nice pub. A shandy and a cola was £5. No parasols outside on the hottest day of the year.
Place is dog friendly but garden is not enclosed so make sure to keep them on the lead as there is lots of junk and delapitated building out the back that could injure a dog/small child.
Great atmosphere, cozy beer garden, dog friendly
Karen and the team are fabulous, brilliant pub and service. Pool table, darts and skittle alley, thanks for making us feel so welcome.
