We have been visiting the Cove in Yarmouth for many years and they never disappoint. This year we arrived ahead of the scheduled check in time and as we gave our name to the desk person she told us that the room was almost ready. She took our cell phone number and said she would call as soon as it was ready. We went across the street for a light lunch and within an hour we received the call that our room was ready.|As we officially checked in the staff was still very pleasant and professional as usual. As they fitted us for our room keys we saw a new method of the key was on a wrist band. The newer version is installed on a flexible band that can be removed if you want to remove it for some reason. They were very comfortable and practical. When we entered our room it was perfectly prepared with all the needed amenities as is the usual at The Cove|With every visit we see again and again how The Cove is always maintaining it's buildings and grounds. This year was no exception.|The pool and hot tub area were also very well kept as was the gym. There is some member of the Cove staff present in pool area to ensure the safety rules are being adhered to.|The Loft area of the resort is a great place for food and entertainment. Please make sure you check their schedule of operation. There are many restaurants in the area for you choose from if they are not open.|We would like to thank Mr. Vinton Wison and other staff members such as Elyse and Mind for all they did to make our time away so very special.
We stayed for a week in the off season (mid-May) and just loved it. Our rooms were gorgeous and the location was convenient for exploring Cape Cod. Staff were helpful. Fantastic fitness and recreation facilities. We hope to return.
Overall, this resort was really good. The location was great surrounded with sea shores, museums, and restaurants, the service was good also, with people to give you supplies such as toilet papers and towels. They had a lot of amenities such as a swimming pool, hot tub, and the recreation center. The recreation center has a basketball court, pickle ball, tennis, and ping pong table which all you need to reserve. The rooms were great, we had a suite with 2 floors. A little bit dated but it was alright. I slightly don’t recommend sleeping on the sofa bed because it is a spring bed and really uncomfortable. A downside of this resort was the noise cancellation was horrible. I could hear people talking from other rooms and doors closing from another room and from the exit stairs. I would say I would highly recommend this place since it is very kid friendly and lots of amenities.
The units are being refurbished. They are going thru the whole facility. Mind and Vinton at the front desk are always fun to talk with. The accomodations the way they were before refurbishing were fine with us. The room was clean and ready for us upon arrival. Kind housekeepers. Can't wait for our next trip.
This place has incredible potential. Staff had a difficult time answering any questions. Rooms are incredibly cold. Dishes, but no sponge? Glassware broke while washing, causing me to cut my hand on the way out. This place needs major work, but could be the best place in town with just minor TLC. Fix the easy things and this place could be amazing.
Really enjoyed our stay at the cove! We have been here twice now each time kids loved it! Large indoor pool. Rec center with plenty of activities for kids! Rooms were clean. No complaints we will def return again!!
Over all great experience, the onsite restaurant was a bit over priced and really not that good. My family loved the indoor pool area, had lot of fun in the rec areas. The kids like the construction going on, but can’t say my wife and I were a fan. Our 1 bedroom, was nice, but not great for sleeping 4 as the pull out couch was like sleeping on a sheet of plywood. That being said over all we had a fun vacation.
I really enjoyed staying here! Our loft was spacious and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses and silverware. Small fridge and microwave if you need to bring anything back from restaurants. Two full bathrooms, one bedroom in the loft and couch pulled out to a bed. Since we went off season, a ton of places were closed for the season . The sportcenter in the community is great for all ages, they had so much to offer. Pickle ball court, tennis, arcade, art center etc… great for the little ones! The location is fabulous, close to shopping, restaurants, mini golfing, museums, entertainment centers and right off the highway! The only real downfall is there are no elevators!!! So staying on the 2nd floor and lugging up the luggage is a PITA!!
