Found this place through social media and was excited to try. We made a reservation and it gets busy, so it's recommended. Also, parking is limited in the area. We ordered a variety of dishes but it was all just OK for us. It looked good, but didn't taste as well as it looked. I think we came to late in the day, and probably would have liked the food better if it were more fresh.
I’m excited to give this restaurant a 5⭐️ review. The food was so amazingly delicious that I just had to thank one of the chefs. The chicken was crispy with every bite and extremely flavorful. The tray of mimosas they offer were also very tasty and they aren’t stingy with their alcohol. I enjoyed the staff and the vibe of the establishment. I definitely will be returning asap!
Okay, first before I even talk about the restaurant. probably nothing. That management can do, but they are located in a strip mall. There is a 7/11, new construction a dispensary there, there isn't a lot of parking so every business, there has the markers say you can park. So the dispensary people were very rude. After that, we are greeted at the door by a very pleasant, friendly host and seeder. Our waitress was also very nice and pleasant. The abbeyonce was nice. It was clean. The restrooms are gender-neutral. It could use a little bit of color, or maybe some plants make it a little bit more cozy. They had TV's on everything playing something different. No close caption, volume down.
I ordered pancakes, 3 chicken wings, and a side of scrambled eggs. My mom had lobster and grits. Diet pepsi was good. The homemade lemonade was tasty and equally balanced of sweet and tart. It is pricey but I will be back.
Excellent!! Great food the fried lobster and grits was ????????. Fried shrimp was seasoned to a point a was eating the tail of the shrimp. Margarita wasn't strong. Overall there service was good. The lady at the front door shouldn't be walking around talking on her phone would make this place top notch for service
Food was great! Shrimp and grits were phenomenal and waffles were light and fluffy. Only giving 4 stars because I didn't like the drinks. They don't have full bar so definitely go for the food...not drinks!
To start, the wait time for 2 was 45 minutes, no problem. We waited over an hour and when we'd gotten to the front, they canceled our reservation. Eventually, we got seated next but the service wasn't even terrible, it was nonexistent lol. The waitress pointed to the table we sat at and didn't even walk us to the table. Next, our flight of mimosas spilled all over myself and my friend as the server tried to sit them at our table. FYI, you'd be better off getting plain champagne, there wasn't anything special about them honestly. Moving forward, my friend ordered sweet potato waffles...why was this plain waffles with caramel glaze and a slab of sweet potatoes on top?! I wish I was kidding. To end, we received our check and realized we didn't even receive a comp for the drinks and broken glass that was spilled on us. When asked about a discount, the server replied "we don't do that." And judging from the conversation I heard with 2 employees, the servers need more training because this was the second flight of mimosas spilled on a table today alone. We also noticed we were charged $5 for a slab of sweet potatoes thrown on top of the waffles but was labeled as "sweet potato waffles." All in all, we won't be back. The food was mid, ambiance was ehh, and service sucked.
It was my little cousin bday today. So just the girls and mom's went to brunch for her bday. My cousin and I ordered the same dish (peach cobbler waffles). I ask for my toppings to on the side. When I got my plate and looked at my cousin plate!! There is no way!!!! I also ordered a side of chicken patties sausage. They were then and a dime for $10.!!!! I will not be returning, nor will I recommend this restaurant to friends, family, not even my worst enemy!!!!!!
When I tell you, this is a 10 out of 10 I’m not playing no cap this is definitely a must have if you come to California and are in the Los Angeles area this was located 20 minutes away from our hotel but I am telling you this is a must have The chicken and waffles ???????? The taco omelette, chefs kiss ???? The fried chicken was flavored to the bone perfectly seasoned and crispy. I’m not going to lie your eyes will be bigger than what you probably can eat because the peach cobbler oatmeal was so good. I could only take four bites of it, but the server told me if we take it home with us to warm it up the next morning, the flavor is still even more amazing. You will visit more than once if you’re on vacation, I promise you!
