What a joke
Meat and potato was dry and the steak an ale was burnt and stuck to the pie tin.

Your a set of robbers.
Not great since it's been taken over, the pasties are sub par, and service is serve two cook their full meal before serving anyone else. Could be massively improved upon, a proper shame.
THE BEST PIES IN ALL OF YORKSHIRE AND MAYBE EVEN THE WORLD!!! loads of veggie options, nothing better than a hot pasty on a cold day :D

Grabbed some breakfast teacakes and stake&ale pies before a hike. Delicious and much cheaper than any other place around. Had to wait 10mins, but it was well worth it and the lady serving us was so lovely. Pies were so good that I asked if they make them themselves. The lady jokingly answered that they start preparing them at 5am daily to achieve such result.
always bought at least 6 pork pies when I visit....but unfortunately the pies today were not the same as usual..... total different,has it changed hands..... disappoint ????

Nice steak pie worth the £3.80 asking price.
Excellent pies, my current favourite being the meat and potato although the Yorkshire pasty and steak pie are rather lovely too! The staff are friendly and are quick to serve despite the current cumbersome plague restrictions with only one customer allowed in the shop at a time. So glad its staying open whilst we're in Lockdown 2 ..The sequel nobody wanted. It's a destination to look forward to on a winter's day especially after a bike ride over the tops!
