Traditional style Country cafe. Great food, everything! Especially anything breakfast & fried chicken. I have been coming here for years and one of the best places to eat for comfort food in the Jefferson County area. The service is always spot on and also the atmosphere reminds me of a typical local / rural cafe which is perfect!
It's just a nice clean family run diner. Serves breakfast 24/7, great burgers, fresh home cooked style food.
PROTIP: Friday is catfish fillet Friday's, the breading is delicious, always cooked good and crisp.
PROTIP 2 (not confirmed) I hear they have great ???? legs and 1/2 fried ????.
Adorable little place with home cooking. Large portions. The potatoes were so good. Tasted like they were cooked in butter. The pie looked absolutely delicious! Cheerful and friendly waitstaff. Reasonably priced. They had a specials board with frog legs. ???? We will definitely be back when in the area again.

The food is over rated unfortunately. They had chicken livers on the menu but I was told those are no longer available but the new menus were sitting on the printer. Won't be back unfortunately. If it's on the menu then you need to have it available or at least scratch through that item on the menu.
No clue what’s up with all these lousy reviews, this is the best place in Jefferson county To catch breakfast in my opinion. Always service with a smile, I have been going here for years. Keep up the good work.
We had breakfast. I got the omelet with home fries and toast. I couldn't even finish because it was a lot of food. We also got the 2 egg, sausage, bacon and biscuit with home fries. His was also good. Good price for it all.
Great food...good service. What more could you ask for!!
