Nice little pub with period features. Wooden beams, cosy etc. Only negative comment is that the staff/owners sometimes appeared uninterested in serving and could have maybe benefitted from a smile or two. Quite expensive, and rounds somehow differed in prices
Couple of hours of pool, and good banta!!
Nice pub, always friendly. The decor is a bit old fashioned, but that doesn't really matter, what matters is the nice atmosphere.
Good small our in Welly. Fairly cheap drinks, pool table, darts, outdoor seating for when it's nice out.
Haven't tried the food but I think they have started to do this at select times. I'll be back when meeting up with friends in Wellington.
Lovely place, relaxed and welcoming. A very old school pub, don't expect too much loud music or crazyness just a very chill atomosphere with good conversation, a great pool table and lovely ales.

Annie is the classic bar lady who makes everyone so welcome.
She is so welcoming that you don't want to leave.
You will not be disappointed with your visit.

Really nice looking pub with good variety of local beers. There's also a pool table and skittle alley. If you are looking for a traditional pub then this place is worth visiting.
