Amazing four course St.Patrick's Day lunch! Chef Michael definitely knows fine dining. The atmosphere, service, and food was excellent. I was also pleasantly surprised that Chef Michael has house made Sangria flavors on the beverage menu! Very special Sangria, my favorite is the Blueberry Citrus, but the Triple Berry Sangria was very good as well. Never had anything like this Sangria before, the flavors are very balanced. He should sell it in stores. My husband and I had a wonderful dining experience. Next time we visit we hope to try the famous French Onion Soup! Definitely one of the best restaurants in Central Florida!
The Corner Cafe is a excellent place to dine. Excellent customer service. We spoke with the owner and he gave us a brief history of his Cafe. I ordered the onion soup along with a Turkey bacon half pressed sandwich. The best combo dinner that I ever ate. During my next visit I will definitely be back????????????????
Update: during covid they lost me as a customer. I ordered 2 cubans for pick up. When processing my payment the owner turned the screen to me for the tip. I didnt tip anything since i was picking up my food (no one brought it out to my car). The owner looked at the $0 tip and had the audacity to question me why i didnt leave any tip! He said that i needed to reconsider since the employees prepared my food and packed it and that they get paid the minimum wage!
How rude! He should pay his employees a living wage so that they dont have to depend on tips to survive!
I was craving a cuban sandwich.Found this restaurant/cafe In downtown Sanford with great reviews. The Cuban sandwich is a MUST!
The owner was so amazing! He took the time to explain the menu to EVERYONE who walked it with the same energy and enthusiasm. With the meal they even included a free small dessert, which i found super nice. Will def visit again!

Amazing food and super friendly staff. We felt welcomed from the moment we walked in. I had their French onion soup which was so tasty and my husband had their Cuban and said it was amazing! We will be back for sure.
Always a great experience at The Corner Cafe from the minute we walk in until the minute we leave! The French onion soup and the Cuban sandwich were fantastic. We also received mini complimentary desserts which were also delicious. Highly recommend stopping here for a nice afternoon in Downtown Sanford.
The Corner Cafe is OPEN!!! Fridays Only between 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. My husband and I Love Chef Michael and his homemade, very delicious soups, salads and sandwiches! Everything is always served hot and fresh in a wonderfully cozy atmosphere. The Corner Cafe is our favorite place to visit in Historic Downtown Sanford.
What an amazing little gem! The food was above expectations, and the owner was so friendly. The food menu seems standard at first glance, but WOW! What an awesome spin on the norm. Best French onion soup EVER! Great service, great food; I can't wait to return soon. I highly recommend!
