Best KPortal Reviews
My recent dining experience at The COOP, a Korean restaurant nestled in Flushing NYC, left me thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, the exceptional service set the tone for a delightful meal.
The staff were attentive and friendly, promptly seating us and ensuring that our needs were met throughout the meal. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to offer recommendations enhanced the overall dining experience.
Now, onto the star of the show: the food. Every dish we sampled was bursting with flavor, showcasing the culinary expertise of the kitchen. From the tender bulgogi nachos to amazing sweet & spicy chicken wings, each bite was a symphony of tastes and textures that left us craving more.
The menu offered a wide variety of options, catering to both meat lovers and vegetarians alike. Whether you're a fan of traditional Korean cuisine or looking to explore new flavors, The COOP has something for everyone.
In addition to the delectable food and top-notch service, the ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience.
In conclusion, The COOP exceeded my expectations in every aspect. If you find yourself in Flushing NYC and craving authentic Korean cuisine served with a side of exceptional service, look no further than The COOP.
The coop is a very nice place to eat at flushing. The place is clean and atmosphere is on point. However, the service wasn’t the best, one of the server was very rude. For example, we couldn’t hang our coat on the empty chair next to us and he kept on rushing us to order. The food was great though, the wings were the best. Great pricing for the amount food - I was highly pleased with everything I had, so savory. Although I’m giving a 3/5 stars, I did suggest this place ????
Been coming here since day 1. The menu changes every 2-3 years. I miss the old happy hour menu $7 food bites & sliders. ????
Service is slow when I walked in at 5:30 pm. Sat for 10 minutes at the bar and no one inquired if I needed a drink? I had to request service
PROS:
Happy hour is 3-7 pm MON - FRIDAY
$5 drafts
$6 red cab or Chardonnay (go white ????)
Phenomenal wings for $19 a dozen ????????
As good as MFC? You decide
CONS:
Slow service
Sports Lounge not really on the right channels
Venue needs some updates since 2020
I celebrated my birthday here last week, and while the restaurant was bustling with all tables occupied and only two servers, the staff managed admirably under pressure. However, I would recommend considering additional staffing to ensure a smoother dining experience for both customers and employees. Nevertheless, the overall experience was fantastic, and the food was consistently excellent.
Kimchi fried rice could be better, was little dry and not enough kimchi. Bulgogi was delicious, half fried chicken and pork belly was very good. Japchae was very good. The seafood soup just ok. Atmosphere very nice and excellent service. Maybe we'll come back to try something else.
good wings and shareables (except the kimchi eggrolls). the sauce we chose for the half chicken was alright; soy garlic wings were much better. our waiter was really nice.
Wings were crispy and had a great flavor. The bulgogi quesadilla was very flavorful. Wife also got jap chae, which was decent. Both our favorite was the bulgogi quesadilla. The down in the belly cocktail was just okay.
The food arrived quickly and tasted super good, the portions were perfect for my girlfriend and I, we even had extra food leftover. I strongly recommend the kimchi fried rice and bulgogi.
