One of the nicest chip shops I have been too. Portion sizes were great, cost spot on, service was 1st class, and the food was lovely. Highly recommend the pies which are made locally. We will definitely be back. Thank you.
Not the best fish & chips I've ever had but also not the worst. Chips are fine but the fish has a rather stodgy, heavy batter. The fish within is good however. The portions are huge. We ordered 2 fish and 1 large chips but only managed to eat half the chips.
We visited this place twice while on holiday. Its the best chippy I have had in years. The chips are delicious the peas were the best I've ever had. The staff in the evening are much more friendly than the ones in the day. We had batter bits specially made to go with the chips. I cant fault this chippy. I highly recommend. A bit expensive but worth it.
The best fish and chips I've had in west wales so far. I had a great portion of fresh chips here with some succulent fish with cripsy batter. Now atleast I know where to get a decent chippy dinner from ????
The long queue of punters was deceptive as the food certainly wasn’t worth queuing up for. Poor quality, badly prepared and served with attitude.
After visiting Contented Sole and filling my tummy with their absolutely delicious fish and chips, I was most definitely a Contented Soul ????????
The staff are very friendly and the prices reasonable.
The fish is always freshly cooked - not left in the oven like in many other fish and chip shops and the chips are crisp and soft with an amazing morish flavour.
I recently moved from London to Narberth and after experiencing the fish and chips from Contented Sole there is no way I would ever return to England again!

Cracking chips, loved the fish bites. Good portions & Friendly staff
Curry sauce was like dark yellow water. Chips were hit and miss. My battered sausage was a dark orange and seemed to have been refried in comparison to my sons which was alot lighter in colour. My other son ordered a chicken burger which was a dry piece of breaded chicken with no sauce or salad offered. The roll wasn't even buttered. So a dry piece of chicken in between two drier pieces of bread.
