Really good old fashioned pub with numerous activities to keep the locals entertained. Reasonably priced, with pool skittles and darts.
Very nice staff. Carl or Tarzan as we called him was excellent behind bar
But sky is amazing on Sundays. Food good beer garden has been rejuvenated to a top standard. Good for couples family's and any single girls look for Ian. Amazing man just need a a women to spend his money on. Lovely atmosphere.
Proper locals pub but we weren't. However we were greeted by friendly locals/regulars. Lots of banter. We had a good evening. Long live proper pubs like this one. ????????
Typical British pub. Real atmosphere, real people and real beer. The Commercial sits at the heart of the local community and those are the people you will meet. Don't find myself there that often, but when I do it's always a warm welcome and a pleasant visit.
Lovely friendly pub, close to the train station and safe for single females. Lovely people and friendly bar staff. You can even use your card to pay for drinks n food.
The Commercial is everything you want in a pub. Friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The staff are all spot on. The locals are up for a chat and make you feel part of the scene. If there is a business model out there to describe how to make a good pub work, this is it.
A nice place for a quiet drink , bar staff are friendly and the place clean and tidy.
Nice little pub larger a bit pricey but love the beer garden.landlord is a gent! Cannot sing bill praises high enough!
