Not been to this place for years but after tonight we will be back. We met up with friends for an evening meal together. My OH had the gammon, our friends wife had the lamb shank while our friend and myself went for the rump steak. Each of us agreed our meals were delicious and excellent value. Can't understand why we were the only diners
Cold, no atmosphere, lack of choice of drinks. Lemonade flat. Had to wait for food as chef shopping! Sunday lunch passable, gravy needs to be thicker, extra Yorkshire wouldn't go a miss. Probably wouldn't call again in a hurry. Sorry.
I had a very pleasant lunch with pints of excellent bradfield beer - farmers' blonde and belgian blue. Surprised more cyclists don't stop at this friendly pub. Highly recommended and worth a trip over the pennines

Just had a lovely Mothering Sunday meal with good variety of options for meals.
