Loosing my hair during my cancer treatment
was very difficult for me. For me finding a
stylist who knew how to properly cut and
color wigs is extremely hard. I didn't know
prior to having cancer how expensive and
delicate wigs are. Trusting someone with a
wig to deliver natural results is rare and scary
at the same time. Harry highlighted my wigs
and custom colored them to fit the look of my
pre cancer style. After chemo my hair grew in
dark and curly. Finally I was able to put in
extensions. Harry put in extensions with out
compromising the integrity of my hair. He
custom colored and cut them. I was in total
shock and full of emotions after my hair
service. I don't even feel as if I have any
extension in. The look of the hair is so natural.
I highly recommend this salon. I am so
thankful for the support they gave me during
my cancer treatment. Thank you Laurie and

The best salon! I flew in from Colorado to get my hair done. They are all color experts. I have long brunette hair and wanted a Carmel blonde balayage. Madison worked on me and I couldn’t be happier with the result. She got my hair to the perfect blonde! I also loaded up on Unite hair products.
Went in for a full highlight/ lowlight as a blonde with noticeable roots, stylist didn’t bleach my roots leaving my hair with a noticeable brown top in the back. Asked for strawberry blonde and left with pink tint.
Stylist took another client in the middle of the appointment and didn’t check my foils for an hour. At the end they didn’t use any heat protectant or product for blow drying.
The Colour Bar is the best hair studio around! Everyone there is amazing, welcoming and so talented! I HIGHLY recommend Harry (he's my personal favorite) but anyone there will do as AMAZING of a job as he will.
I love this salon in Harleysville. Each time I walk in, every one is friendly and welcoming. I am very picky with my hair and the service is beyond exceptional. The results are absolutely amazing considering they have found the perfect blonde for me when I was originally a dark brunette! I have been to a few stylists in the salon and all of them were fantastic! Each stylist takes the time to get to know you and to understand what outcome you’re looking to achieve. They will always find a way to make it happen! There is always great conversation flowing and the salon has such a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, the salon is gorgeous and the people who work here are absolutely wonderful at what they do!
I recently went to the colour bar after researching many salons in the area, and the atmosphere and personality of all of the staff/salon made me instantly realize that this is where I need to go to get my hair done. Coming here for my first ever salon-experience was the best decision I could have made. Nicole really took the time to understand what I wanted and put all her effort and time into making my goal happen! She was friendly, personable, and extremely reasonable. There is no one I trust more now! Thanks Nicole and the colour bar, can’t wait to come back! ????❤️
Today I realized it's about time I wrote a review after I got a compliment on my hair from a hair stylist I just met. She commented on how well balanced my hair color was, how much dimension it had, and how nice the cut was. The first time I went to the Colour Bar I had a bad box color, and I had gotten a cut at a chain salon that was much shorter in the back than I wanted, it was impossible for me to style, and I was desperate to get if fixed. I called to see if I could get an appointment , and an hour later I was with Nicole. She is an amazing stylist, and a really sweet person. I got a beautiful Balayage and a great style that I can be happy with until my hair grows out in the back. My boyfriend, who hardly ever comments on anything, kept staring at my hair and telling me how great I looked. Every time I have been back for a trim and color touch up, it looks amazing and I get loads of compliments. I absolutely love Nicole, and I don't think you could go wrong with any of the stylist at the Colour Bar. Every person I have seen there walks out looking great. It's a great atmosphere here because all of the employees are friendly and pleasant. I also have to mention the very comfortable, adjustable shampoo bowls. You couldn't ask for anything more!
I'm thrilled to leave an outstanding review for Harry. He is a color magician! No extreme measures, no long hours in a chair, no indecision. He saw my hair for the first time, knew what should be done, and got right to it. Amazing results!
The Colour Bar Hair Salon space is fantastic and the staff is friendly. For a Tuesday evening, the place was hopping - that speaks volumes.
I don't write a lot of reviews, but I highly recommend this business!
