Perfect spot for a stop off the A30!
Lovely homemade cakes and fab coffee. Warm scones and Nan‘s fruit cake. Managed to resist a Kelly‘s ice cream. Free and spotless toilets in the village and interesting gallery next door. Take the to opportunity to visit the church and look at the carved pew ends.
Yum! Needed somewhere to recaffeinate on the way from Crediton to Falmouth and lucked out finding this cafe. The loaded Biscoff iced coffee, raspberry iced tea and homemade cherry bakewell blondie blew us away. Owner was lovely to chat to as well. We’ll be back ????
Made a special trip across to The Coffee Cup at Alternun and it didn’t disappoint. We are regulars at Trebarwith so had to give it a try. Just to check the peanut butter brownies were the same ???? What a treasure Alternun is too. Will definitely be back ❤️
Beautiful little village, everyone is very friendly, coffee is amazing as usual and the cakes are delicious, I really do recommend everyone to visit
Absolutely superb soup & cheese scone, coffee and cake. Top rated customer care and the locals are so friendly. Highly recommend
Great coffee. Great people. Delicious ice creams and cakes. Make sure you stop in here!
Best place for a stop off from the A30.
Found this place purely by chance as we happened to be vaguely nearby when we needed a stop for our baby.
The loaded iced coffee was nowhere near as sickly as it looks in the photo — you could still taste the beautifully-made coffee — and the iced tea was a triumph of refreshment.
The owner was delightfully welcoming, the little village is charming, and we’re already planning to stop there every time we’re on our way past :)
Stopped for coffee at The Coffee Cup in this beautiful village on way through to Eden Project and so glad we did. Enjoyed a warm welcome from locals and a delicious homemade cream tea - though must say all the cakes looked yummy. Highly recommend this little place and should time allow, a wander round the quintessential village church.
