Great place, we had a drink and some sandwiches and chips all were enjoyable.
Sandwiches come with a small side salad.
The chips were crispy and hot.
Lots of variety of drinks both alcoholic and not. There is a choice of inside or outside seating. Both are good.
Will be back.
Tremendous old fashioned pub. One room, one conversation! Bought beers by the locals within an hour of arriving and was treated to an evening in their company. True night to remember
One of the last traditional pubs in Suffolk, a great pint, a small open fire and welcoming easy company, what more do you need in life.
The service, traditional atmosphere and food are much more than you’d expect! No fuss or frills, with all wholesome home cooked food! Love this very authentic little pub where you can even take your own boardgames and share a lovely couple of hours with family, friends or even share a table chatting with others you’ve never met! Such great value too!

We had sandwiches, they were excellent, thick, fresh bread with top quality cheese, ham etc.
No music or TV.
