Awesome place for breakfast. From the Omelette to the Cliffs Sandwich, we loved everything we order, including the bacon and egg avocado toast! It was so good forgot to take pictures of the food. We also had 4 of their special drinks and they all hit the early Sunday morning spot! Enjoy!!!
Been coming here for years during visits! It never disappoints. Can always find parking and good vibes.
Mid morning weekday visit had ample free street parking. Service courteous and friendly. Food custom omelette was good not greasy. Bacon bagel had a lot of bacon. Coffee not bitter not overpowering flavor. Decor welcoming and personalized of a small local coffee shop not franchise as most competitors seem to be. Would visit again as they serve food not just coffee/pastries.
My husband and I just spent the last week in OB on vacation and stumbled upon The Cliffs Cafe our 2nd day here. We’ve been here everyday since! Andrea is soooo sweet. Everything we have tried (avocado toast, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, smoothies, coffee) has been delicious. We’re so glad we found this place and got to support local while visiting. 10/10 recommend
It's a small place with a delicious menu, also be ready to wait on a spot to hopefully open up to sit, there's also chairs outside the entrance door but just a hand full of chairs. FYI they don't give MILITARY Discount. Anyways the food was Great, my eggs were overeasy instead of OverMedium like how I like them but other than the ????Pancakes were Perfect! The bowl aka Monkey Business was great and freezing cold so be careful to not get a brain freeze !o! The vegetarian battles were good. The dragon ???? fruit smoothie was good, but it was to cold I couldn’t taste all the fruits so make sure theres not to much ice in your smoothie becuz tht can ruin a smoothie!
This local coffee shop is such a gem! The barista who is always there I believe owns it and she is the absolute best. Not to mention they have WIDE variety of food and drinks and yes they are all good!
The Vietnamese coffee is one of the best I’ve ever had. Bagel sandwich with jalapeño cream cheese add hash browns.. heavenly I tell ya.
Visited while in SD. Amazing food and customer service! Their breakfast burritos are fire! And I really enjoyed their Berry Berry Smoothie. They're good/easy about food substations and additions. Hassle free, great attitude! Will def go back. A bit of a wait but well worth it. Make sure you've got some time.
Always my favorite place to eat in San Diego. The staff and owners are so friendly. My wife and I spent a month in San Diego and we ate at Cliffs every single morning.
The food is so good that words cannot describe it. Highly recommend this place and cannot wait to go back to San Diego and eat here again.
