Highly recommend! We sat outside on the main level and enjoyed being by the water. The restaurant has a fun vibe. Lydia our server was excellent! We loved all of our food! The creamy Maryland crab soup mixed with their broth crab soup was so good! The goat cheese appetizer was amazing! The rock shrimp ceviche was also amazing. The warm lobster roll is a must! Crab cakes, also delicious. You should definitely dine at the Choptank in Annapolis!
The quality of food and the service I receive here, each time, is excellent. I HIGHLY recommend the Whole Chicken Nashville Hot (it’s not spicy at all). It’s really amazing… I’m always on the hunt for excellent chicken. The serving size is huge! Tell them I sent you
The downside… the reservations are difficult to get at the last minute, but it often seems like they are only at 90% capacity. Prices are high—- Annapolis high.
Everything tasted really good and they have lots of options to choose from. They also ask about any dietary restrictions and had a vegetarian option. The restaurant is very nice and the view while you eat makes the experience even better. We did not have to wait long and it was also a holiday weekend. The staff were very attentive and are also dog friendly.
We went for Mother's Day dinner. That is probably why it took almost an hour to get our bottle of wine. I've been in the past, and we didn't have to wait that long for service. Most things we ordered were well prepared. I'd say stick to the oysters from CT, RI or Canada. The ribeye steak was weirdly burnt on the surface, but to order in the middle. The view from the second floor is wonderful.
First time coming here after living in Annapolis for 4 years and wish I came here sooner! Love the atmosphere and the views are amazing. Would be a great spot for dates or out with friends. Was here for Happy Hour on a weeknight (Monday) so it wasn’t busy at all especially due to it being off-season/cold. Parking was simple and no issues finding a spot. They have an upstairs bar with outdoor seating and fire pits. Ordered a bunch of things off the happy hour menu and it was all delicious. Got calamari, a dozen oysters, giant meatball, and shrimp cocktail. Also got a couple orange crushes ???? ???? Will definitely be back here soon!

I am definitely going back to this place. The rooftop takes your breath away. A little pricey though be prepared for it.

We had a reservation at 5pm for our 10 year wedding anniversary 04/12/24*, at first glance when pulling in, luckily there was a open spot to park by the front door. Walking in the decor and layout (very classy), hostess gave us an option for our special day to choose from any table in the restaurant and we chose the top deck looking out by the water, appetizer we chose was the (Maryland crab dip) very very good, my wife had the (crab cake) and I had the 16 0z prime rib w/ Mash potatoes + Brussel sprouts (both very very good) the menu very simple and straight forward and simple and ingredients of each. Our waiter (jessica) was on point and very attentive to our needs. All in all the experience and staff very very good. It is hard to find a great establishment that has their crew focus on member service. Will be returning again for our anniversary in the future + bringing friends and family to this great establishment.
