I don’t know where to start except by saying that was the best fish, chips and peas I’ve ever eaten. I’ve never had a fish so large that it didn’t fit on the plate! The fish was so fresh it tasted like it had just come out of the sea and immediately cooked. Not only was the fish massive, it was chunky too and the batter…..wow, crispy, light and delicious. The chips were traditional chips and again tasted really fresh. The peas I could tell were oozing flavour. Finally, I have to mention the staff who were all smiling, polite and helpful, you can tell that it’s a happy work environment. After enjoying my meal so much, I don’t think I could eat fish and chips from another chippy. This is a hidden gem that is seldom found.
Finally, to cap it all off they gave me 2 bottles of beer (on the house) as I was leaving.
To summarise, there is no better fish and chip shop around Glossop/Tameside and full credit to the owners for creating a magnificent chippy :-)
Just delicious food from these guys. Highly recommend the homemade pies and chicken kebabs, they are superb!!! Had a variety of things from here and can honestly say, you won’t get better anywhere else. Can’t not mention the team, always friendly, happy to help and nothing is too much trouble.
Just had a superb steak pie, chips and gravy. My husband's cheese and onion pie was equally good. Very friendly staff. Also very clean. Highly recommended.
Called in today , don’t know where to start , the homemade steak pie was just amazing with chips and gravy ,
And they had an amazing cheesecake 2 different flavours , and honestly the best cheesecake I ever tasted .

I think the pictures say it all. I usually struggle to finish fish and chips but these were so good. Lovely crispy batter, no grease, beautiful fresh fish. Bit generous with the salt but I did arrive on my bicycle ????
Went here today for dinner, fish and curry was amazing and the salt and pepper chips were bangin. Staff were really friendly. Definitely go again.
