Wasnt impressed no more, after coming back almost from a year ago, food was better last year ir 1st time trying it, today food was different and no flavor, didnt felt the real Dominican flavor as I did before!!!! Order an empanadilla and a Chimi Burger, no flavor and both dry, I asked for Ketchup and Mayo-Ketchup and still waiting, never got it, I remind the server two time and didnt get it….
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chimi spot and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. This charming restaurant offers a genuine taste of Dominican cuisine that is both authentic and delicious.
From the moment I walked in, Katherine and Gabriel greeted me with warm hospitality and a vibrant atmosphere. The decor beautifully reflects Dominican culture, with colorful artwork and a lively ambiance that made me feel right at home.
The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and eager to offer recommendations.
Whether you're familiar with Dominican cuisine or trying it for the first time, this restaurant is a must-visit. I look forward to returning and exploring more of their delicious offerings.

4/12/24 This time I had the Yaroa with pernil and an order of fried yucca w/garlic. ????
My food was completely burned then called the restaurant didn’t answer they could’ve just told me they didn’t want to make the food I spent about $100 to get burnt food for me and my family i’m definitely going to go back when they open tomorrow and try to get either my food redone or my money back. If not, I will be calling my bank and canceling that transaction because that’s Why you pay with a card to be able to cancel bad transactions like this one will be leaving pictures below this is supposed to be a churrasco y una Pica cadera bien quemada .
Came here because of the reviews to be honest the food is amazing. Had a bit of a hard time ordering, but that's only downside to my visit today. Once the owner came out to assist everything was great .
Delicious food,very attentive waitress and clean atmosphere. Definitely will be back. Alfonsina was awesome ????
This was our 1st time eating in and everything was delicious. Our waitress was Ariana, she was attentive and took good care of us. We had their slider for an appetizer & perfectly cooked churrasco & shrimp mofongo as our entree. We ordered on Uber before and had to come in and try at the restaurant. Will be back!
Alfonsina was a great waitress. She was very friendly and made our dinner feel like we were right at home. Mofonguito trios with garlic is definitely a must have! I was so eager to dig in, I almost forgot to take a picture. It’s an appetizer but it’s very filling if you want a light bite.
