My husband and I had ate the Sunday roast here today and we both agreed that it was great. Every part from the roasties to the chicken were cooked perfectly. We also had a side of cauliflower cheese which was delicious. We then went through to the bar to finish our drinks and felt that the whole venue had a nice welcoming atmosphere.
A fantastic village pub. 12 of us booked in for dinner. Food was absolutely lovely.
Returned 2 days later without a booking for New Year's Day brunch. Probably the best Full English I have had! The staff were very accommodating, especially as we hadn't booked and they had another large booking.
No complaints, would definitely return and would highly recommend!
Went for Sunday lunch today on a recommendation and it was great. Chose the roast pork and must say it was absolutely delicious. Generous portions and cooked to perfection. Somehow managed a dessert which was also very tasty. Good friendly service too. Will definitely be back. Thank you
Two of us had an excellent lunch last Friday and were well looked after. Atmosphere rated as four star as it was a shame it was very quiet in terms of customers. Also dog friendly in the bar. Will definitely revisit.
Group of 12. Food was plentiful and for a great price. One slight issue with one of the dishes but that was all resolved, quickly and above and beyond what was needed. Definitely recommended and would not hesitate to return. Big thumbs up!
Staying in the, area we booked for a family of 16 ages 8 to 68,nothing too much trouble the staff were brilliant. Everyone's meal was excellent all enjoyed it.
A really nice pub, we both had the cod and chips....lovely. The young man who served us was also great, even bringing our dogs a bowl of water 10/10
We had Sunday lunch the food was amazing, tasted great, hot and great value. Highly recommended
