I received took is group of older friends to The Cavendish for coffee and cake. I used to visit quite a lot but have not been there since the owner took over which I think was a while ago now. .
What a wonderful warm welcome we all received. The table of 10 had been reserved as requested. The cakes were absolutely divine and cheese scones the best I’ve ever tasted.
The staff were so lovely, we will 100% be returning. Thank you all for making our morning so enjoyable.
I had an amazing afternoon tea here for an early Mother's Day treat. Food was phenomenal, service excellent, and the atmosphere wonderful. Would highly recommend the Cavendish!!
Afternoon tea with my daughter and friends. Fabulous selection of sandwiches rolls quiche sausage rolls followed by scones and cakes. Unlimited tea offered by super friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Very impressed, lovely little place, staff are friendly, food is excellent, prices are what you'd expect from a higher end cafe. I cannot fault it and am looking forward to the cakes I've taken home
Went there for coffee with my friend. The place was bigger than expected I felt like me at home. Only not one explained how to order .
The food looks amazing my coffee was good. The service at the counter was not that friendly. They have a parking and tables to seat outdoors.
Prices are ok
Cosy little cafe/restaurant with cheerful staff and good quality food; busy throughout the time we were there and reservations taken indicating how popular it is. Limited parking at the back but street parking available
