We called in for a quick drink after seeing this pub on the map and being intrigued by the name. Very small and cosy with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and lots of quirky cat-related paraphernalia. No actual cats in sight on our visit, sadly. Like stepping back in time, in a good way. Definitely worth a visit. Cash only.
Our first time at this friendly, traditional pub in a beautiful setting (cash only, please note). We sat outside as evening fell and were treated to a visit from four badgers! Will definitely return.

Very friendly tradional public house the menu's limited to ploughman's or cold filled sandwiches, all excellent and several wood burning fires lovely warm atmosphere.

Lovely friendly pub. Just spent 2 hours there. Lovely ploughman's lunch and wonderful setting.
