Love coming here, when I'm at my caravan.
Live acts, disco, karaoke, bingo and at lot more. A top carvery every Sunday, well worth a try!
Shout out to Paul and Bethany, you both work very hard! ????
We came in on Thursday evening for lunch and was told there was no pie ,fish ,mushrooms ,tikka masala ,but still ordered food ,they were very busy so we had a fair wait but the dj kept us entertained he was really good ,the food was brilliant ,no complaints ,very tasty ,the bitter on draft was very nice theakstons
But they have seemed to be short of staff this time we visited all in all tho a pretty good night
A great wee boozer food is nice & reasonably priced , usual pub grub style meals & Sunday dinners are nice too, pub has singers on every month with bingo and raffles every weekend
We had a meal on Saturday night in the restaurant, I had Rump Steak which was very tough, so much so I left most of it! It certainly was not Rump Steak, I did not complain as they were very busy. I do know what I am talking about as I am a retired qualified Butcher and Catering Lecturer. We had arranged to meet a family member to take to The Carvery on Sunday Lunch time, which was excellent, with a good selection of 3 meats and a variation of vegetables (all very hot) with there appropriate sauces. The staff were very friendly and there was a nice atmosphere.
I do think more attention needs paying to the wine glasses, I wiped mine with a tissue before I would drink out of it. The tables were very sticky and needed a good wipe, certainly between customers, which they certainly weren't.
First time here today with the Family, for my partner Charlie's fathers day. Lovely Carvery, lovely ice cold fosters. Most of all lovely friendly staff. Will definitely be coming back. Can highly recomend.
Visited The Cartwheel the first night of our holiday at Trusthorpe Springs for some food, we certainly was not disappointed the food was amazing at a reasonable price too. We usually try different places to eat but we were that impressed we ended up eating here 5 times out of the 7 day holiday.
The Sunday carvery was excellent too.
The staff and regulars are all very friendly and welcoming and the price of drinks is very reasonable too. Will definitely be visiting Trusthorpe Springs again and eating and drinking at The Cartwheel Club.
Had a fabulous carvery, friendly chef, Tony, made us feel very welcome. Definitely be going again. ????
We often go for Sunday carvery. Very generous with the meat, and fresh veg. One of the best carveries around.
