Very friendly, welcoming and a great breakfast at a good price.
Drove all the way from Leeds on a temporary car insurance which had a time limit so needed to get off and back on the road. The place was full, 4 in the queue with 5 lads on a table waiting to order. Stood in the queue for 15 mins with only two cooking/serving. Everyone ordering hot food so it would have taken ages before getting any food, I had to walk out. The place needs more staff!
Sandwiches and hot meals are absolutely delicious. The festive sandwich with roasties is sublime.
Good wholesome food at a great price with friendly service to match ???? Best mince and dumplings around, shame it's only available on a Thursday!!
Staff attitude laughable, pulling faces at customers when they ask a question. Be thankfull you have customers. A man appeared from the car park, only to walk straight in the door from a van, straight behind counter and started serving me. Hands washed ? Nope, just fingered all the buns and food. Last visit for me.
Had a breakfast I work in the food industry and the tomatoes were off the sausage s are the cheapest which ruined the breakfast. Was very disappointing, prices are fare. But I'm afraid when you use cheap of the cheap it didn't go down very well with me.
I'm a food hygienest and for what I had the tomatoes are not stored properly hence the taste was not nice. Even with cheap tin tomatoes your going to get a slight bitter taste. But I'm afraid these were off..I have a level 3 in city and guilds, I no when foods not right. The cafe needs a food storage once over.
The place looked very clean , breakfast was with old white bread and most probably the cheapest saussages money could buy also the tinned tomatoes were not fresh at all they had a vinegar taste to them which means there old and off. nice place thats about it
