Best sandwich I've had in while! Good thing I don't live close or I would be here regularly 5*
Breakfast bar ran efficiently by two lovely ladies. Friendly atmosphere and packed to the gunnels with breakfast, brunch, second breakfast and lunch ideas! I was definitely spoilt for choice. Actually it took me a while to decide!
In the end I had Mandy's whammy burger - boy does it fill you up. It was full of workmen when I arrived all chomping at the bit. Rapid service and piping hot food. The queue went down quickly.
Extensive menu that I could read even without my glasses! One guy asked for something not on the menu and the reply was, "if we have the ingredients we're good to go." Great customer focused attitude.
There's a seating area outside well away from the A6. Try it - you won't be disappointed.
They close at 2:00 pm on weekdays but it was 2:05 pm when I left and they were still serving!
Would I go again? Yes. Value for money? Oh yes! I was stuffed!

The best food I have had on the road, I drive all over Lancashire and this beats anything else for breakfast or lunch! Huge portions, tastes amazing and always greeted with a smile. Great value too ????????????
Always like stopping at Mandy's food is always good. (Tbh only ever have Bacon. Egg. Sausage on a bap) especially on the Motorbike either on the way or from the Lakes.
Best Sandwich place around. Friendly, fast and very fairly priced.
The barbers directly across (Hayley) is also fantastic - been here for a few years now and you cannot fault anything!
Delicious food, the breakfast really sets you up for the day, nice under cover seating area to enjoy it. Mandy is very friendly and accommodating and helpful. Definitely a good value place to stop and get refreshments if you're in the area.
Friendly welcome. Amazing food. Generous portions. Highly recommend the Black pudding butty.
