Just had the best Sunday pub roast, it was cooked superbly, the service was excellent friendly attentive staff I would highly recommend the bunbury arms if I was allowed to give 6 stars I would, easily accessible disability toilets.
Lovely family friendly restaurant with friendly staff offering nice food. Old fashioned/ traditional decor inside with lots of space outside to sit and.
Food is lovely however maybe a tad overpriced, we had a Chicken volcano burger and salmon with new potatoes and seasonal veg. (Burger photographed had been started on!)
I really wish I thought about taking photos before we tucked in
Amazing food myself and partner went in yesterday 3/6/22 with our dog i phoned first to check dogs where welcomed and they incourage dogs in . The gentleman and lady who greated us were so welcoming , made a fuss of luna , our table had menus on and a little plate of treats for luna which she also loved she also gives 5 stars ???? ????.
We had the pizza and burger. Both fabulous. The pizza was delicious i really hope you keep this on the menu ????. Also have to recommend the hand cut chips amazing.!!!
We will definitely be back with family soon .thank you for great service and great food .see you again.
Can't comment on food as we only went for a drink. However it smelt good. Lovely location and the owners have certainly made positive improvements.
Location is lovely. Service started OK but deteriorated quickly. Seated fine and drinks order taken. Waited a while had to ask for menu, waitress was clueless when asked about veggie options available. I asked about a veg chilli or the veggie option for the roast. Waited 75 mins for food to arrive without knowing what I'd be getting. The veggie roast was basically veg the meat alternative forgotten covered in unwanted
and unasked for salty sweet gravy. After such a wait just ate it. Sat for all that time without a second drink tried to catch waitresses eye repeatedly as movement was discouraged. Asked about dessert n told they where on the board which we couldn't see due to our location. Much anticipated and sadly poor service. Would not recommend.
Came here yesterday with the wife. We had a couple of drinks at first then thought we would try the food. And glad we did had the steak and ale pie was excepting a frozen pie or a puff pastry lid, but was pleasantly surprised to have a homemade pie it looked very rustic. My wife had the fish and chips. Would recommend was very tasty and value for money. Will be returning
Been visiting this gorgeous pub for many years. Today, I had one of the best roasts I’ve ever had and I’m a tough critic when it comes to roast lunches! Very warm welcome, the staff all helped me feel comfortable with my son and my dog. Five star service. Pretty sure my sons chicken nuggets were a chef special and my roast and gravy! I’m a gravy freak were to die for x Thank you, keep being amazing. Family run, local business it’s right up my street x Jules x
I've always loved the cosy, relaxed atmosphere here and again this didn't disappoint, so I would recommend if you were looking to just go for a nice chilled drink.
As for the food - apparently burnt, black beef is acceptable to serve. I genuinely couldn't believe these dishes left the kitchen and were allowed to be given to paying customers. We didn't complain, we just ate the acceptable parts, paid and left. Maybe we should have complained but we were left so disappointed, we just couldnt be bothered with any hassle.
I have eaten here plenty of times in the past, albeit a few years ago and the food was nice. Unfortunately though we wont eat here again anytime soon which is a shame because we really love the surroundings here.
