This shop is fine for quick food items but avoid the post office at all costs. I will not be going back because it is INCREDIBLY slow and the service is unhelpful. Today I popped in to post several letters that required international stamps. I waited over an hour and fifteen minutes for the person to type in the international addresses required for the customs form. She did not have any urgency and didn’t acknowledge that it was taking a ludicrous amount of time. For anything other than quickly dropping something off, this post office is to be avoided.
So happy this shop has been taken over by a new owner. I believe it was owned by a husband and wife and the husband was so rude. His customer service skills were awful. He touched food with his hands right after touching money and sometimes even serve the local builders before the waiting customers. Everything was overpriced. And they would sell things like women’s tights and highlighters (that never sold) but not the everyday things you would normally find in a convenience store. out of date eggs and bread would still be sold at full price (like they need the money when everything is overpriced). The bakery items was always the same, not enough options for certain dietary requirements and none of it was fresh. I hope the new owner is more up to date with todays life.

Found this little gem while searching for a nearby coffee and sandwich. Located within the local post office, the staff were very friendly and offered a good choice of drinks, sandwiches, cakes and pastries. Would happily go again.

Whoever works in here has to be multi task as it's a newsagent, a cafe and a post office at same time!
Don't complain about the wait as it's understandable and they can't be everywhere same time, is only 2 of them in here.
It's compensated by a kind and friendly service, was a pleasure to talk with those 2 ladies.
Bog choice of wonderful cakes, pastries and sausage rolls all at cheap price, tea and coffee available.
Come in for a quick break or take it away as many workers do

Surprisingly, good sandwichs here and freshly made. It doesn't look like much at first glance mind.
They always have fresh food. Hot food and cold. The woman who served me was nice. Heated my sausage rolls for me. Also, they have a very nice selection of sweet food. Ranging from millionaire shortbread to carrot cakes! They have different Rubicon flavours as well as Knoppers!!! Yum!
The Bun shop has a good selection of freshly prepared sandwiches and soft drink options. I believe it is family run and has served the local community for more than 10 years. It has the added bonus of having a Post Office and stationary section at rear of the shop. The staff are helpful and friendly.
