Nice friendly pub with plenty of parking.
Located conveniently close to the Coventry canal at Bridge 54, which has ample moorings for canal boats and cruisers.

Lived in Polesworth for decades. The addition of this steakhouse is inspired. The atmosphere is great. Staff very attentive. Food - OMG partner had mixed grill, bestie had sirloin steak and two of us had FULL rack of ribs. We were shocked when served. I’ve never seen ribs like it. They were amazing. I only managed to eat 4 before I was full. Deftly packed up to bring home. Highly recommend.
Good local pub, cosy, good value. Very good restaurant above - El Toro. Steak based with a few other options. Definitely worth a drive as there are very few good restaurant options nearby. Large portions yet still good quality. Meat comes from the local butcher. Excellent wine. Not quite Michelin star but better than any other local restaurant we've been to.
All great, steaks are from the village butcher and delicious. Staff so friendly and helpful. Decor and atmosphere lovely too. It’s been a long time coming but we finally have a really lovely restaurant in the village. Would definitely recommend.
We visited the El Toro Steakhouse on a weekday evening. The atmosphere and decor was cozy and welcoming and we were given a warm greeting.
The food was very good, the portions generous and very well presented. The staff were all very friendly and service was timely.
Overall, a very good experience.
This was a fantastic meal. I had the ribs it was some of the best I have ever had. Service was amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Traditional pub which was a port in a storm as I had two hours to kill in Polesworth while my car was being serviced. Dog friendly with a friendly atmosphere and a very nice cheese and onion cob!
Service was great, efficient and polite. Food was amazing. Steaks were top quality and good portion sizes. We’ll be back soon
