There is a big sine on the door telling you that your not aloud to use the toilet if you don't buy anything well gess what I wall not be going back there and if think you shod go some where more friendly
Made to feel very welcome, great staff, great atmosphere and reasonable price, will hopefully be back when visiting family.
Great day with old mates. Nice pub, good service, nice prices and locals very friendly. I didn't eat there, but if the food is like the atmosphere it must be good
Came here for a game of pool but didn't mange to get a game due to the group of fellas enjoying themselves but had a n8ce quite pint regardless.
Great atmosphere for any occasion. Also under new management with new chef. Food is 10 times better. Great friendly staff always and made welcome. Kids are welcomed as it is a family pub. Plenty of room to be quiet or be in company. Have entertainment on weekends and cater for everyone.
Nice pub unless your expected to sit at a unsanitary table with all kinds of rubbish under your feet while barmaid is talking to people at bar instead of doing the job she is paid to do
Haven't been in this pub for years but called in for a pint while I was visiting friends in the area. Must say that it hasn't really changed much apart from the staff. I remember a lovely lady called Mary who used to work there who has now retired. The current staff are equally as nice though and I was served straight away with my pint. (Although to be honest there were only 2 other people in the pub!) I was going to have my lunch in there as I remember it to be quite good for the food, but they don't serve any type of food any longer. Only stayed for the one pint and off to The Sefton for my lunch but enjoyed going back in there.Brought back a lot of memories!
Waited an hour and half for basic food and manager wouldn't come out to speak to us. Great food in the past just hope you don't get friends or staff ordering after you or you get pushed back. Not acceptable especially when you want to feed children. Will not be returning
