Went in for the Friday night special, cod, chips and peas £15 for the 2 of us. We hadn't booked but although busy we were seated and served straight away. Absolutely beautiful such good value lovely light and crisp batter, we will be back.
Outstanding food, great service, lovely warm atmosphere. Specials are, well, special lol.

New catering staff, and how pleasant they are. Had a Sunday lunch which was good, beautifully cooked veg. Nice friendly service and welcoming atmosphere. The vegan meal was very good
Went out for some shopping earlier so decided to eat out on our way home. Popped in to The Bull and, not only did we get great service, the food was fantastic. Steak and ale pie was cooked to perfection, the meat was lean and tender, puff pastry was light and the sides were superb. Highly recommended if you want great pub food
It's a great old school local, friendly owners and great bar staff! A friendly environment and the locals don't bite thankfully. ????
They serve food on specific days and the food is excellent, overall the staff are first class!
Pool, darts, Wood burner and cosy. great meals, rustic, (old if you like that vibe) outside tables in the front and rear courtyard (a decent size), rear garden with a kids play ground.
Thankfully it really can't be heard from the pub so your kids can go nuts. ????
Booked here for Sunday lunch after a stroll in the local area. Friendly staff and lovely welcoming atmosphere. Clearly a popular pub with the locals but it certainly didn't have that clicky feel that you can often get when your not a regular.
Lovely food. Decent sized portions. Had 5 slices of beef veg was cooked to my liking and not mushy. Reasonable price for the quality and portion size. Would visit again if in the area and would recommend a visit.
