Recommended by a family member fantastic country pub very cozy, with extremely helpful, professional and courteous staff.
Food was absolutely amazing.
We had a Sunday roast dinner, and burger. I've never seen a burger that thick, wasn't greasy tasted like premium mince steak
We used to go here before but haven't been in since new people took over. We are so glad we visited. We had a lovely homemade steak & Ale pie for dinner with cheesey chips, steak & Ale pie with mash & peas & a burger & chips.
The burger & chips are good but the pie is a must try!!
Also next time we will hopefully have some space for desert as the brownie looked amazing... But we just couldn't fit it in.
Food is amazing. We stumbled across them accidentally. The food was UNREAL. I highly suggest you go.
Had a delicious Sunday roast with sticky toffee pudding. The pub wasn't too busy and the service was nice and quick.
Lovely pub, beautiful building, great selections of drinks. The food I sampled for a lunch was really good. A very welcoming place with some great locals and superb staff!
Had a fantastic lunch, here last Saturday afternoon.. They have a fabulous New Tapa's menu. Serving Chicken wings to for.. And don't miss the Special selection, found on the board next to the bar.. We shared the tasty crisp beef. Yum! Yum!. Will be back..
A warm welcome. Delicious food . We had the rump steak and chips. Both steaks were cooked to perfection. The chips, best I've had in a long time. A lovely village pub. If your passing through and fancy a drink or a bite to eat I would highly recommend it. Thank you.

If passing you may consider this is
your typical local, however don't be fooled as the menu and food is a wonderful surprise and this chef certainly knows his trade very well.
Following a conversation, we were not surprised at the Chefs pedigree and earlier years experience in some well respected kitchens.
Keep up the passion, you clearly enjoy preparing the food you are serving.
