We stayed in the car park overnight in our campervan. Leslie was very hospitable, she even invited us to eat our takeaway in the pub. The Guinness was excellent. Would definitely stay there again in our van. Thank you
We stayed for the night in our campervan and Lesley and Pat couldn't have been more welcoming to me and my son. We had a lovely evening, we met the locals and learned a lot about the area.. we'll definitely be back, if only to visit the tortoises! Thank you.
Found this as a campervan stop over. Rang ahead to check it was ok to stay, landlady said they were closed for renovation so no food available but we are welcome to stay and also go in for a drink. I'm so glad we did, what a lovely couple, very welcoming and friendly, she even made us a plate of sandwiches. We had such a lovely night. The pub is in a lovely location and we will definitely return.
cant recommend this pub enough. although not local to the area was made to feel part of the family. the place was warm and welcoming and the bar staff were friendly. the restrooms were clean and the pub is dog friendly

Lovely place, perfectly positioned for a group of thirsty cyclists from Herts aiming to make it to Norwich on a very warm day. Lovely host, wonderful sandwiches.
Very nice pub Leslie was really nice brought out some sandwiches for us. Would recommend.
Was advertised as open 12:00 - 11pm but on Friday of late May bank holiday at 13:15 it was closed and looking very tired and unloved. Paint peeling from the windows and lots of dead plants in front of the pub. In contrast, the Green Dragon in nearby Wymondham was absolutely heaving with people, even at 14:15.
