We have now visited The Broomgate a few times and every time it has been excellent. The food is always tasty, plentiful and hot and the staff are all great and very helpful. This is a great wee restaurant for the size of a place like Lanark and is proving very popular. If you are thinking of going along call them up and book your table in advance because you will have no chance of getting a table if you just turn up, it is that popular. The Broomgate - recommended ????????
The Korean chicken poppers were amazing, we had katsu curry, pepper chicken, fajitas & chicken burger, all fantastic!! Service was great & good value for money. Def be back, could not recommend highly enough
11/10 first time visiting and definitely wont be my last. Menu has something for everyone and the food was simply amazing. All the waiting staff were friendly and helpful making sure we had everything we needed.
The restaurant itself was very busy so you definitely need to book in advance even for lunch.....testimony in itself.
Delicious food,friendly staff, great gluten free options,gluten free steak pie & it came with gluten free puff pastry,10/10 i would highly recommend.We've been here a few times and there's plenty of choice for everyone, Chicken with the haggis bon bons & peppercorn sauce is lovely, definitely value for money
Food and service was excellent. A choice of salsa for the veggie burger would have been awesome. I had the chicken burger which was ace.
The food was overpriced and the service was really slow, despite many waitresses and just 4 customers. The food was definitely not worth the money. We won't be back.
Fabulous food. The menu is too good so we're always spoiled for choice. Our son travels abroad most of the time and has eaten in many different countries and tasted all kinds of cuisine. He says the food here is fantastic. We're so lucky to have such a place in Lanark.
Tried for the first time tonight. Great menu, plenty to choose from. Food was delicious and the service was great. Will definitely be back.
