Handy spot for picking up essentials while boating. Even after the third visit, the woman at the counter looked like she was expecting us to knock over the place, though.
Vijay is the man for your essentials. Super stocked up shop with a large variety of produce and an affordable price. Great location of the store positioned right next to the canal. Certainly recommend to all.

A great village store in a beautiful location on the river. Was well stocked for my visit passing through on my cycle ride. Highly recommended and I will plan a route past the store again.

You will struggle to find a bottle of wine for under a £10 er! (And it’s not as if it’s expensive wine, I would say a 40% markup on average)
Most local people just seem to buy newspapers and milk (have also heard they call it ‘’harrods’)
Great store stocking a wide variety of essentials. I always find what I need in there, and a lot of the food is fresh and high quality. Friendly helpful staff and excellent easy location with plenty of parking.
