Been using this sandwich-bakery shop for a good couple of years now. Nearly always busy because the staff are such a lovely team and the club sandwich is delicious!
Freshly cooked fillings or cold, in freshly sliced doorstop bread are so popular, you will just want to keep going back.
But above all those they have this moorish selection of doughnuts!
Really good food, fair prices and lovely staff. Always friendly and remember your order. Can be really busy, which isn't surprising given how nice it is here! The staff all make a real effort to keep their customers happy. You get a real sense of community. I come here most days for lunch and always leave a tip. Not usually one to leave reviews but these ladies fully deserve the 5 stars!
One of the best sandwich shops in Basildon (if not, thee best)
The quality of their products are top-notch (both hot and cold), the bakery is always clean, and the three ladies that run it are down-to-earth and always friendly, funny, too, yet still keeping professional. We have a good ole laugh when we're in there!
(FYI the ham, cheese & red onion toasties are to die for????)
Just picked up my large sausage roll and caramel latte from the ladies, thank you for the polite quick service and hope the early opening works for you

Excellent service, very friendly staff. Got to the point where I go there every day for lunch as I just can't help it ???? The nicest food from any bakery I've ever been to. Would definitely recommend.
Although the food is nice, every time I go around 1.30pm, I get disappointed because they have pretty much nothing left.
Very limited range of bread & cakes.
Perhaps they have more stuff early in the morning, but if a shop is open til 2.30 pm, they should be able to provide a good range til closure.
Not impressed.
Fabulous breakfast roll, egg bacon and sausage all in a lovely soft seedy torpedo roll, Don't usually like sausages in sandwich but their pork ones are lush, they do also do Cumberland . Definitely recommend.
