I played here with my band, Dr.T-Bone, in December 2021 and we found the place to be a real gem. It’s a great place to to quaff a few beers, to listen to live music and/or to perform. We enjoyed performing for a lively and appreciative audience and the place attracts a nice and varied crowd.
The staff are exceptionally pleasant and welcoming and the guys organising the music really know their stuff. The decor is good and there’s a great atmosphere.
Staff here are fantastic. A great place to stay, better than most hotels. Spent two weeks here no hassle. Rooms are clean and have great facilities. Busy in the pub Friday and Saturday night but dont hear it in the rooms upstairs. I would stay here again definitely.
This place is doing loads better! Open mic night is great. It's gone from a grubby bad rep pub to a lovely little music hub.
First time here for a long time, bar staff were amazing with the amount of people that were there for my friends wake, thank you.
Nice surroundings. Very friendly staff. Good beer. Live music at weekends. A win win if ever there was one.
