This is a nice traditional pub
Friendly staff and a decent choice of drinks on the bar.
Pool table and sky sports
We came a cross this on our walk and stop in for a warm and a pint
Good place to spend new years eve. A really pleasant crowd of mixed age ranges
Second time been here on visiting local friends & family nice pub..good service..polite staff..can't fault any of those things..but by the pool table there is a unnecessary step there which my other half took a tumble on and had heard that many more people have done this too so it is dangerous really and thats when your sober and the pool que whilst playing pool in a tight corner nearly put the window through too although nobody had any info on that happening..we did see the funny side to this though and to top it off a glass got toppled and smashed to the floor...what else could possibly go wrong..happy to say nothing else went wrong..a very enjoyable night had by all!!!

Great ace to gave a beer on a boozy walk. Have a soft spot after we watched the Miller's go up here on 30/4
Working in the local the area been in this pub a few times the staff are really friendly the drinks are good and the atmosphere has always been welcoming definitely worth a visit
