A small peaceful place by the Norfolk broards with boats coming and going. A few shops there ,a fishing bait shop. A village store which sells lots of things including sandwiches to take away from their cold fridge and cups of coffee to take away seats outside to sit ,a lovely little place . An antique shop too .
I recently visited the big shop in Womack staithe. I cannot express how amazing and helpful the ladies were! I have read some of the reviews and I cannot believe the one about there voices, would this person judge a proprietor if the only had one leg? How people look or sound has absolutely no relevance to what sort of person they are. These ladies were amazing and so kind. I will definitely pop in again when I’m in Norfolk next even if it means going out of my way. Local shops are in vanishing from our villages and we should support those that are left. You don’t get that friendly service from a supermarket. Keep up the great work! And well done to the husband who keeps on going behind the scenes.
This is a nice quiet and simple part of the Norfolk Broads network, where boats can be hired, moored or pumped out. There is a lovely open green area with lots of benches, public toilets etc as well as a shop for basics and fishing supplies etc.
Ludham village (pub and store) is only a 5 minute wall away.
There is also a small 5 unit campsite across the road.
A visit is highly recommended ????

Womack Staithe is a wonderful place. The Parish Council should be praised for their work here. The Big Shop is excellent, serving the best coffee on the Broads. There is an Artisan bakery selling lovely bread and cakes and croissants to rival the french. Good toilets and a nice village green. We hired a boat for a week from Swalllowtail boats which was a brilliant find.
Absolutely awful. Taken over by 2 women that without looking you would think they are men with their voices. Definitely need to cut down on the smoking. Use to be such a lovely shop before being taken over. Will not be returning. Appalling!!
Awesome place to go! Everyone in there is warm hearted, kind and helpful. My kids adore the staff as I do too! 15 out of 10!
Called in for a coffee whilst out cycling. Two lovely ladies made us feel welcome and great coffee.
