I travel 9 miles to buy my fish and chips free . And no , they are not cold when I get home . Superb fresh fish. Cooked to order . Lovely chunky chips . Also a host of other menu choices . Top man too. Great service
We ordered fish and chips here as my parents were staying over.
Good crispy clean batter on decent sizes of fish, not to greesy. Chips were well cooked.
Loads of food for what you pay for.
I would highly recommend this has become my new fav fish and chip shop.
It is far better than big fish in Mold, although I presume they are owned by the same manager.
One suggestion would be to update the decor.

I was very disappointed with this place. I wanted to try it because of the good reviews. I travelled there especially to try it out with my kids. We had fish and chips. The chips weren't nice and none of us finished them. I think they were old chips, just reheated to get them warm again. The fish was fresh, and we finished the fish but the batter was thin, not applied well and was relitively tasteless. Customer service was good! It's very expensive, especially considering the quality of the food.

The best takeaway chips I've ever had! Went to Buckley for a funeral & called into chippy on way back. I'm just sorry this isn't my local. The guy serving was great too. We sat inside & ate at no extra cost. Good prices, good servings, good chips ????
Absolutely shocking curry and chips ate 3 of them total waste of money should be ashamed of themselves
Was very disappointed with the food here. The chips were old and had been reheated after being cooked but only enough to warm them slightly. For the cost of the fish it's expensive other establishments offer a much larger fresh fish in a proper batter.
The hot curry sauce was lovely though but unfortunately this is all we enjoyed from our chippy tea.
