What an amazing idea. Lunch on a barge. It's like a Tardis inside. Plenty of room, friendly staff, very clean, excellent fish and chips (xl piece of fish). Well priced. And you can park almost next to it.
There is also a takeaway window.
Well done to all that created and work here. 10/10
***Update***
I was in Bude today, so I took my lady for lunch on The Barge. Fish finger sandwiches. As expected, it was delicious.
I'm going to make it my mission to visit every time I'm in Bude.
Popped in to escape the rain and had a really tasty scone and hot chocolate.
It's a small place so you do find yourself sitting very close to, or looking directly at, other people which is a little too close for me. But it's on a boat so its expected.
The food was very well presented and the luxury hot chocolates were delicious.
We had the biscoff hot chocolate.
It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
Lovely place for a lunch, cream tea or just of coffee.
Very warm welcoming staff and a good selection of cakes. Seat in or out by the Quayside.

A fantastic novelty place, the food was great and the staff were fantastic.
So nice to relax with a lovely vegan hot chocolate drink, if you have never tried one you may well be very happaly surprised. The food looked really good as well.
Lovely experience at the barge with friends and their children. We had creams teas that where delicious. Staff where very friendly and helpful. Not too expensive. Definitely recommend a visit
Waited almost an hour for a breakfast which instead of being veg arrived classic and the coffee was served to me after 30 minutes. the service is questionable and the waiting time even more so. When my breakfast arrived its look was miserable and because of the rush of recooking it, the tomatoes were not cooked at all. nice and characteristic location but for the less than mediocre food that they offer it's not really worth going.
Amazing hot chocolate, lovely views. Great atmosphere. Clean toilets. Will be back for more
