One of my favourites to grab lunch like a filled cob or a meat n salad or just a breakfast cob when passing. They are definitely not tight on the fillings and could do with a knife and fork just to eat a cob sometimes. Please be aware this is one of the most visited places in the area for food to go and will be very busy around 12 o'clock. They also have a massive cake selection that they make themselves aswel and also do birthday cakes if needed.

Incredible selection with your usual cakes and breads but they also do hot cobs and salad boxes with jacket potato’s. I managed to pick up the cream filled iced bun and it’s probably the best thing I’ve ever had! Definitely recommend x
Great family run business, Fresh cream Cakes are fantastic. Bread, cobs, pasties, sausage rolls are always lovely as they are all baked fresh in the shop each day. Staff are nice and friendly. Highly recommend a visit
If you’re ever looking for the best place in Long Eaton to get hot take away food, bread, cakes and lots of other things, then this has to be the go to.
The quality of the bread, bacon, sausage, etc is top notch and their mahoosive selection of cakes is to die for. All served by happy, friendly staff. Try it and I promise you won’t be disappointed.
After purchasing two hot sausage rolls at lunchtime I don't expect to be served with something that seems to have been reheated from the previous day with the meat so hard and dried up you couldn't bite into it! Not fit for a dog to consume let alone a human I am very disappointed I will not be coming back! as I expect good quality fresh food from a Family bakery! I will stick with Birds in future!
We ordered a cake for my daughter’s birthday (I must admit, quite short in advance), we gave some indication about the decorations and the order process was very straight forward. The cake is absolutely stunning and very good too! We’ll definitely order more cakes here in the future!
Had the best Viennese whirl I have ever tasted here. Melt in the mouth biscuit and filling absolutely delicious ???? in fact all the food looks great ! Will def be sampling more here in the future. Can’t believe I’ve only just discovered this lovely bakery ????????
Update: There is a little board on the back wall with post it notes for any one who is having a bad day to get a free drink and cake paid for by kindly customers ! Very warm-hearted owners ????
The best bakery - so many beautiful cakes, cream cakes, sweet and savoury pastries . Service is always good even when the queue is out of the door !
