Lovely local bakery store. Humble and old fashioned but has a unique character and charm because of it. The important thing is that the bread is so tasty and is definitely amongst the best around the area... And I really love my bread! Reasonably priced too and always get a friendly service from staff.
Update: Noticed the white bread appears to contain butter or oil. The paper wrapping is usually rather greasy time I get back home. In these times where we like to know exactly what is in our food... This may put some people off.
recently bought a homemade tuna sandwich 6/ 10 and also purchased a Danish Apple turnover with cinnamon as it looked & sounded great... couldn't taste any cinnamon & it had approximately a tea spoon of Apple flavoured gel in it. 2/ 10 .

My go to place for fresh bread! Simply the best! I like to get there early while the bread is still warm. Great service from the lovely ladies! Thoroughly recommended.
Lovely fresh bread, and the meat pasties I had were delicious and full of meat! I knew they'd be good when I felt how heavy they were! ????
Bought four exceptional Hot Cross Buns today. Shame I will have to wait a whole year for the next ones. These are the best HCbuns I have EVER had. The peel gives a wonderful citrus kick and the tops were so yummy and sticky with a large cross of yumminess. 40p each AMAZING.
Everything looks lovely but found it all a bit bland really, bought s selection of cakes and some sausage rolls but not so great, lovely staff, helpful and polite
