Ordered a bacon baguette from here this week and spent the best part of the night on the toilet. Nothing was different with my diet as I’m quite picky but thought I’d try something new. Never again
baguette for dinner .contained bones. and pieces of rosemary stem, not chewable. tasted terrible we bought 7 of them together and 3 people had stomach problems. I do not recommend
Shaftesbury has plenty of lunch options where you can find delicious food all made from locally sourced ingredients, it’s just this place isn’t one of them.
Absolutely drowns in mediocrity when compared to what else Shaftesbury has to offer.
Typical bog standard cash n carry bought stuff using part bake baguettes, anaemic tomatoes that aren’t ripe, Awful chicken that I suspect was water injected as it was rather slimy.
As far as quality goes there are simply no positives worthy of mention.
I dont quite know what else to say about this place?
Will I be back? Not likely!
If I was to set up a similar establishment would it be better? Damn right it would be! First port of call - Decent bread!

Great place.Friendly staff 5* hygene rating, despite what you may read below. Fresh cooked bacon served to 12 o'clock only as its a sandwich shop not a cafe, but cold crispy bacon usually available.
Generous with portions, although automatic hand sanitiser asthmatic.
Im a regular customer and always get served politely and efficiently.
Highly recommended.
Rude lady..... Only popped in for a quick bite to eat but i saw her talking down to and belittling a potential new employee on a job interview instead. The owner was using the wrong chopping boards for cooked and uncooked meats and informing the poor interviewee that she was wrong. (A quick google search in fact confirmed that the girl was right and the lady was wrong). This place should be shut down, cross contamination in this period is a big concern. This lady needs to be re-educated. Avoid at all costs, such a shame....... only wanted a sandwich too.
The experience I had today has shocked and saddened me so much I would love to open a shop opposite and close them down!!! Unbelievably shocking rude woman we were literally stunned at how bad the service was!!!
The baguette I had was amazing hot roast pork with gravy my colleagues was disappointing so very mixed on the quality of food...
Wouldn't step foot back in there again if you paid me!!!
Good quality food , fair prices . Lady who owns the business is great for a laugh if you didn't buy your sense of humor at pound land ! Keep up the good work
A great find. Best baguette I’ve had in a long time. Lots of filling and a good price too!
