The Ardentinny was an absolute delight to dine at.
Booking online, easy peasy.
Arrival, easy to find, parking opposite the restaurant.
Service, fantastic. Friendly and attentive.
Atmosphere and decor is modern and relaxing. We dined mid-week so it was fairly quiet being off-peak season in the area especially.
Visit 1: We booked here and loved the menu. All the starters sounded fantastic and oh boy they did not disappoint. Perfectly executed, wonderfully presented and went down a treat. Main course & desserts were just as perfect.
We loved it so much, we just had to come back.
Visit 2: Same menu, but was advised it would be changing the following day, which, if we could stay another night in the area we would've! But fantastic to hear they switch things up regularly to keep it exciting. Food, just as delicious. Myself and my partner had the Venison. One of the most perfectly cooked venison we have ever devoured.
Price wise, I have ate in many fine dining restaurants serving up very similar plates of food as The Ardentinny did, and paid twice as much. Outstanding value for money here too.
I cannot sing The Ardentinnys praises enough and wish them the very best for the remainder of 2023 and beyond.
If you are in the area, or outskirts and willing to travel (we drove 30 mins to dine here) please do book here, you won't regret it.
Definitely a higher class restaurant when it comes to the served food. Absolutely delicious and well presented. Enjoy it outside on the terrace with a marvellous view of the loch.
Along with an attentive and humorous service, we spent a great time here.
Just been in for a meal and drink. What a lovely couple. Very friendly. Service was lovely and the food was fantastic. Venison was delicious. Highly recommend. We arrived an hour before they were closing but they were happy to serve us. Very accommodating. Lovely seating area out the back across the loch.
What a hidden, stunning destination to enjoy the huge sunny deck with access right onto the beach. Perfect for delicious eating and enjoying drinks. Very dog friendly. Beautiful food making it not only worth stopping if you’re nearby but making a destination restaurant. Lovely genuinely welcoming young couple running this fabulous new favourite of ours.
We understood it is under new management since 2 months.

Possibly the best lunch I've ever had! Food was absolutelty excellent and the outside terrace looking over the water is stunning! Lovely welcome by the waiting staff and the service was brilliant ! Would 100% come here again and wish I lived closer because it is an absolute gem of a find !
Lovely, light, bright and clean establishment. The wood interior is stunning along with a fabulous menu. Something for everyone, even if you are feeling brave to try the different game dishes. All in all, will be back there again. Thank you ????
