Wonderful welcome, great food for good value. Some of the friendliest people ever and a cracking fish and chips. And dog-friendly!
Three of us went for Sunday lunch and all agreed the food and atmosphere was amazing and that it was the most enjoyable Sunday lunch we can remember. The food was fresh and homemade including the Yorkshire puddings and deserts. Not a hint of frozen or microwave rubbish - simply proper good old-fashioned food and decent portions. Rare to find a decent pub these days so please don’t change anything! Excellent value for money too. I particularly recommend the homemade bread and butter pudding.
The owners are fabulous (Jack particularly entertaining!) We’ll be back regularly - no doubt.

Lovely little pub, we were made to feel so welcome and had a lovely dinner and a pint.
Lovely pub very friendly owners and customers all the food looked great apart from the curry which I mistakenly ordered would get a pie next time.
A hidden gem! We visited yesterday with our little dog Monty. The owner and locals were so friendly and welcoming, with lots of funny banter. There is a beautiful little decking area outside. The food is simple but perfect for what we wanted, it's fresh and home made too. Had we been staying longer we would have returned for a second night. Definitely worth a visit!
