Anyone looking for a decent carvery locally, give The Angel Inn & Peacock Lounge Wainfleet a try, gorgeous food, all fresh and homemade and the cheesecake is to die for ???? Decent price aswell.

Me and my family have just enjoyed a wonderful Sunday carvery.
The meat and vegetables along with the Yorkshire pudding and all the trimmings were absolutely delicious.
The cauliflower cheese was on another level. I would come back, just for this.
You are very much spoilt for choice along with generous portions given.

A beautiful old pub with character. Outside buildings take you back in time. Peaceful setting and a feeling of relaxation.
Landlady and partner very friendly and knowledgeable about the pub and local area.
A nice place to meet friends and catch-up.
Visited for the first time on mothers day and i can honestly say first impressions was a 10/10 the staff are very welcoming the sunday dinner was beautiful,i shall be visiting more often !! The cakes looked amazing but i was too full to even try so thats on my next visit !! Thank you for making my mothers day special x

We had Sunday lunch at The Angel Inn while staying in Wainfleet for a long weekend. There were 10 of us. The staff were really welcoming and friendly. The carvery was lovely, very generous portions and all homemade. Will definitely go back if in area again.
Lovely place food amazing make a reservation be for you go very popular place.
Called in here for a few beers. The place is in need of a freshen up...however, great choice of drinks, we played pool for about two hours and the lady behind the bar was really lovely. Worth calling in just for her.
