Best KPortal Reviews

I’ve visited Albert’s previously and not really had a problem, but tonight we had a meal for my daughters birthday and the food was disgusting. In fact we feel quite nauseous at the moment.
The cheese garlic pizza bread starter was swimming in grease.
The sirloin was meant to be medium but was well done tough and chewy but the dogs should be ok with that.
The chips and onion rings and peppercorn sauce you get one of each for £12 and the onion rings were sitting in a bed of grease and were just like greasy circles of batter and remained uneaten. Dogs won’t even like them.
Such a shame as it’s our go to but not again.
I pointed it out to the waitress’s and wasn’t really given a resolve .
£92 for a meal for three which was really not nice. Disappointing.

Went to The Albert this Sunday evening on recommendation from a friend who said the food was great. A well presented Romanian owned restaurant with
reasonably priced menu and drinks. The starters were both very tasty and I’d highly recommend the Golden fried Brie. Even as new to the restaurant the staff were super friendly as though we had known them for ages.
I will return for sure and look forward to my next visit.
Booked here for Mother's Day with my mum looking forward to this. Experience kept getting worse from the minute we stepped in.
Waited 20 mins to be seated, staff seemed unhappy in general and place appeared to be understaffed.
Didn't notice anything on the website to state it was a set menu. Went to double check in case we just missed it and the website redirects to their Google page so was unable to check. It seemed multiple people were unaware of this too with many asking for the regular menu.
Service wasn't great. We were offered drinks fairly quickly but waited 50 mins to even be asked what we wanted to order, 5 options on the menu and two of which they'd run out of so we paid for drinks and left. Table next to us were there before us and received their drinks 10 mins after us.
Atmosphere was very strange, didn't seem like people were happy at all. Table behind us also left without having food. Seemed pricey for a very limited menu.
The menu itself had many spelling errors (we counted 12 and I'm dyslexic! ????) one of which being "conelliopn" which apparently was cannelloni. The whole experience has put us off and we won't be visiting again!
On route to Bristol from the north i was looking for somewhere nice to eat lunch with my husband that was off the motorway and accessible as I'm a wheelchair user. Using the Google accessibility symbol I saw that The Albert was accessible but all the photos showed doors with steps and no mention of accessibility in reviews or on their website. After a little move around on street maps I could just see another entrance that looked accessible so we gave it a shot. Just 15 mins from the motorway we arrived to find a lovely place with full accessibility from entrance with push button opening to accessible toilets and fully accessible interior. Such a shame it's accessibility isn't mentioned online as they should be proud of it! The food was amazing and the staff friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our visit. The only negative I had was that the emergency pull cord in the toilet is very short. It should reach to just 10cm off the ground so it is reachable if someone is in the floor. All in all, a beautiful, accessible, clean place to eat with a lovely menu and nice atmosphere.
Great fresh food, everything we ate was amazing apart from the chicken which was dry. Prawns were ????
Lovely atmosphere: buzzing, family friendly, multi-generations and, on the day, kids that were a delight to be around - well behaved and enjoying time out with the wider family. Food was lovely - lamb chops in particular; service was friendly and efficient. Will definitely return.
Comfy seating areas, pleasant atmosphere with a warm welcome. The food menu isn't large but offers a variety of different dishes. Portion sizes are just right, and the prices are decent to match. Visited around lunchtime, and it was pretty chill, but slowly began to pick up as time went on..
