We had the Greek chicken gyro and the cod special, both were done to perfection. The chicken was extra tender and full of flavour and you can tell the tzatziki is not just bought in. My husbands fish was white and flaky and the batter was a crispy coating. The service was really friendly and even offered us a potato fritter for 50p.
Asked for a chicken gyro it came like slop you'd get from prison the chicken was pink and didn't smell right at all. Usually a lovely chippy and enjoyable but this time not great.
Chicken wrap for £ 5.10 , love it and , enough for someone even if very hungry! Quantity ???? , taste is better with all salads ???? except red cabbage where u can opt , also variety of mayo….. there are many other fish varieties too …

Great food (tried the homemade battered rissoles for the first time - a full meal in itself!) and friendly staff. All you could want from your local chippy.
The person who served the food was nice and careful with it. Nice juicy fish and sausages. However, chips could've been better in terms of consistency. Overall a great chippy!
Arrived late on a Sunday, it didn't bother the staff despite us being spot on closing time.
Food was great value and was delicious, they do battered mars bars too!
